Time in a Bottle – the Mozart Effect: Tempus in Concert at the (an Asheville Choral Society premiere ensemble) – this unique performance is presented as part of the “Asheville Amadeus Festival” – a city-wide celebration of music and art presented by local artists and arts organizations. Tempus, our premiere vocal ensemble, performs works of Monteverdi, Daniel Elder, Ēriks Ešenvalds and Stacey Gibbs' exciting gospel arrangement of 'My God is a Rock.' These pieces are paired with Mozart’s Laudamus Te and a few of his bawdier drinking songs.
